The winning design of the Melbourne 2006 Commonwealth Games Secondary School Student Coin Design Competition The competition to design this coin attracted hundreds of great designs from talented young students across Australia and evoked more than 20,000 votes for the designs of the six finalists.
Voted as the winner by the Australian public, this creative design by 16-year-old Kelly Just shows animals mimicking athletes performing a variety of activities that will feature in the up coming Commonwealth Games
